*The CCC Council of Bishops is an administrative body that more closely resembles a board of directors.
There is no actual hierarchy of clergy in the CCC. Each diocese has it's own Bishop and each church or parish has it's own pastor or priest. We all work together as a church family and faith community, and we all follow the same general rules and guidelines as set forth by the council, but we are also independent and autocephalous of one another.
